Split PDF · browser-only

Split a PDF. Pick the pages. Grab the result.

Drop a PDF, type a range like 1-5, 8, 11-13 or tick individual pages, and your browser re-extracts them locally — no upload, no recompression. Download one merged PDF of the selection, or one single-page PDF per chosen page. Open DevTools and watch for yourself.

The tool

Drop it in, mark the pages, grab the new file.

Type a range like 1-3, 5, 9-11 — or tick the thumbnails underneath — then choose between one merged PDF of your selection or one single-page PDF per chosen page. Bytes stay in your tab.

Source

Comma-separated. Use dashes for ranges. Duplicates collapse; sort order required.

Selection summary

Pick a PDF on the left. A scrollable thumbnail strip lands here — type a range like 1-3, 5, 9-11 or tick individual pages.

How it works

Three steps. No upload stage.

The flow is the same as every other PDF5 tool. Familiar enough to hand to a colleague without a tutorial.

  1. STEP 01

    Drop your PDF

Drag-and-drop the file or pick it from the picker. The browser opens it locally with the File API — every page turns into a thumbnail in a scrollable strip.

  2. STEP 02

    Pick a range or pages

Type a range like 1-5, 8, 11-13 — errors show inline — or tick individual pages. Pick whether you want one merged PDF of the selection or one PDF per page.

  3. STEP 03

    Download the split

Your browser re-extracts the chosen pages with PDF-lib and hands you finished files straight from memory. No recompression, no upload, no waiting on a server.
